first visit in Singapore circa 2007
Mr Whattaworld (commonly known to his close friends as simply Marvin) was diagnosed with this travel obsession known as wanderlust, in which there is still no known cure. The love affair with wandering started back in 2004 in a place called New York City while he was in the process of finding his purpose in life; it was all history from there on.
When he is not out traveling on a very tight budget, he is currently working as an analyst for a British investment bank based in Singapore. Eating, walking, taking photos, and exploring new places are some of his obsessions during the weekend.
This travel blog will attempt to share to the world the places that Marvin has been. The readers are more than welcome to add on their comments and suggestion as to how to improve this web site.
Meanwhile, sit back and relax – let Mr Whattaworld show you the way around Singapore, South East Asia and hopefully beyond…

Hi Marvin,
Southeast Asia is one of my must-travel-to destinations. I just have to find a chunk of time to do it. But for now, I guess I’ll just have to live vicariously through you. 🙂
Would you be interested in a link exchange? I’ve already added you to my blogroll.
Cheers!
Monica

Enjoy traveling!!

hi! i stumbled upon your blog as i search for taxi information from Yogyakarta’s airport to go directly to Borobudur. i tried to add a comment to your blog entry titled “borobudur…” but so far all attempts failed.
may i know if it’s possible to take a direct taxi from yogya’s airport directly to manohara hotel at borobudur, and how much does it cost? or any pointer/advice on better alternatives will be much appreciated! thanks a lot!
btw, i enjoyed reading your trip in detail; i will take exactly the same flight as you did, in 2 weeks time! thx for sharing 🙂

Just wanted to see a short list of what places you visited in your trip so I could use it as reference in mine.
